Since it's foundation music has been integral to the life and liturgy of Nottingham Cathedral. The Cathedral has enjoyed a long and prosperous musical tradition that has grown and expanded considerably in recent years representing a diverse group of musical talent from across Nottinghamshire.
It provides music for the Cathedral and Diocesan services across the year through the Cathedral Choir, Boys' Choir, Girls' Choir and Youth choir. It works closely and collaboratively with the Diocesan Schools Singing Programme which has been growing since September 2021 helping more children to access the Church's rich tradition of sacred music.
